GOVERNMENT OF INDIA, MINISTRY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, DEPARTMENT OF SCIENTIFIC & INDUSTRIAL RESEARCH, NEW DELHI - 110016, HAS ACCORDED RECOGNITION TO OUR IN-HOUSE R&D UNIT AT OUR FACTORY AT JALPAIGURI IN MAY 1998 AND RENEWED VIDE THEIR LETTER NO. TU/IV-RD/2019/2006 dtd 11.05.2006 till 31.03.2009.

In-house R&D Unit of IFP-INDIA is engaged in various Projects for development of the fire fighting chemicals particularly Foam Chemical and Dry Chemical Powder and their applications with various Equipments detailed as follows :

• Development of formulation of fire fighting chemicals complying with the requirements of various National and International standards and customers requirement.
  

• Development of various inputs including chemicals for manufacture of Foam Concentrates and Dry Chemical Powders.
  

• Development of Equipments for various applications
  

• Development of environment friendly fire fighting chemicals and the study of its effects on environment and toxicity.
  

• Development of fire fighting chemicals for suppression of vapour / fumes.
